THERE ARE A COUPLE OF THINGS YOU NEED TO REMEMBER
When you're growing your business and start branding yourself it's always a deep and profound process. Because in order to build a brand that is radically authentic, YOU need to be authentic as well.
Meaning: you need to see who you are, understanding your wonderfully weird traits and love yourself completely.
That's where the Fairy Tale of the Ugly Duckling comes in.
A bird is born in a nest that is not his. But he doesn't know that. He's being scorned and branded as the odd-one-out. He feels totally lost and alone. Until one day he finds out he's not a ducking at all. He is a swan!
SO ARE YOU. YOU ARE A PERFECT BEAUTIFUL SWAN!
No matter which stage of the journey you're already at, simply follow the steps
Every Module is based on ONE crucial step in the story of the Ugly Duckling. Let's start.
" But, la! In the reflection in the water he saw a swan in full dress: snowy plumage, sloe eyes and all… And it turned out he was one of them after all. His egg had accidentally rolled into a family of ducks. He was a swan, a glorious swan. And for the first time, his own kind came near him and touched him gently and lovingly with their wing tips. They groomed him with their beaks and swam round and round him in greeting.
And the children who came to feed the swans bits of bread cried out, “There’s a new one.” And as children everywhere do, they ran to tell everyone."

Build the Solid Nest: With self-love, self-care, acceptance, courage. Infuse it with soul power and love.
The ugly duckling didn't had a solid nest. He was mistreated and didn't had a lot of love, He felt alone and unimportant. Wonderfully Weird people often relate to that feeling. That's why you need to build your nest of love!
The first step in the Academy is all about you. Print your workbook and take at least 30 minutes for some self -exploration. Start at point zero. That way you will notice how fast you see huge differences in self love AND your business success.
DO THIS.
- Write down how you feel about you. Be honest. Many of us have had really hard times. Being Wonderfully Weird comes with feeling everything way deeper than the other 85 percent of humanity. It's okay. We've all been there.
- Get a pen and start writing love notes: I am enough. I am Light. I am beautiful. I am perfect. It's okay to feel a bit weird about it. Do it anyway.
- Almost every course in the Academy focusses on self-love. Don't worry you don't have to get this right immediately!
- I will regularly post messages of love and encouragement in the Facebook group and kindly challenge you to share your stories.

Lay the Egg - You about You: Get to know yourself from the inside out. Including your limited beliefs, creativity, fear, ambition, education, uniqueness, your wonderfully weird work & life experience.
Knowing (and recognizing) the egg is important. You're Wonderfully Weird. you probably have forgotten 75 percent of your knowledge and experience. It's time for some reconnection with everything you already know!
DO THIS
- Write down a list of everything you have done (work, hobby etc.) in your workbook
- Write down everything that's in your Zone of Genius. Where everything is so easy you can't believe will ever pay you (but they do!).
- Find the Zone of Genius Post in the Facebook group to discuss your Zone of Genius.
step 3 / HOW THE WORLD SEES YOU

Meet the Other Ducks - People about you: Get 360 degrees feedback from friends, family, clients to find out how you make people feel. Consciously differentiate yourself and start leveraging your uniqueness
Before the duckling found out he was a Big Beautiful Swan he listened to other people. We translate that into something very important in your brand.
Module 3 is about how the Outside World Sees You. Personal branding is about you Consciously Differentiating yourself from others. Instead of being like others you aim for being different, outspoken and visible. You aim for Being The Real You. Before you build your brand you need to know what people think about you, why you are different from others, how you make others feel and you need to set your mark in the best possible out of this world kind of way. No more excuses. Goodbye, hiding.

step 4 / BEING THE EXPERT & GO TO PERSON

Leave the Pond. Become the Expert & Go To Person: Find your Zone of Genius *where everything is super easy* Decide on your niche. Find your soul client. What do they need? Define what makes your business & method unique.
While transitioning to being a swan , the ugly duckling separated himself from the crowd. He wasn't like the others anymore (he never was, but only later acknowledge that!) We translate that into becoming the expert.
Module 4 is about consciously differentiating yourself from all the others. For instance, if you are a coach and you are a business meeting, handing out cards that say: Coach, you make it really for other people to forget you.
If however, you tell people, "Hi, I'm . . . . I support men who became father at a later age to cope with fatherhood and their work." now people will remember you! They immediately start thinking about guys in their network who could benefit from working with you. You showed up as the expert!
DO THIS
- Get your workbook and fill in who you (want to) work with. Be super specific. And do the Hi . . . I am. exercise.
- Share your homework in the group and ask for feedback.
- Reflect on the way you show up. Can people actually see what you can do for them? How can they see. What sets you apart in daily life, your communication, social media etc.?
step 5 / YOU ON TOP OF THE WORLD & MARKETING

Be a Swan - Own your Swanity: Find your Position. Set up a strategy, visual identity, and social media presence. Decide on your version of success and your Scary Big Vision. Always connect authentically with
your soul client and audience.
As soon as the ugly duck saw himself reflected in the pond he knew he was a swan. Instead of hanging out with the mean ducks (like he did his entire life) he joined the majestic swans. He completely upgraded his life.
The ugly duckling separated himself from the crowd. He wasn't like the others anymore (he never was, but only later acknowledge that!) We translate that into becoming the expert.
Module 5 is about how YOU Own your Swanity. Day after day. It's where you are a leader, get your own tribe, grow your vision. In all honesty. Once you completely embraced your swanity there is absolutely nothing that can stop you.
It's more a state of mind and everything you do from that state of mind is bound to be effective.
But it will also take some time. You get that right?

DO THIS
- Get your workbook and do the big vision exercise. At the left you write everything that keeps you small. at the right you write down your growth mindset. I filled in a list to give you an idea.
- Write you Big Vision (remember it needs to be scary!) and ask for people to cheer you on.
- Check your life, your house, your clothes, bank account, friends etc. what needs upgrading and choose where you will start.
