YOUR BELIEFS
Oh oh, our beliefs! They are so powerful. They feel SO real! Hey, I feel them so they must be true!
We try to push them away and listen to the guru’s who tells us To Do It! Yes You Can Do It
But seriously, the harder we push ‘m out of our way, the harder they got back when the going gets tough.
They keep nagging you when you want to explain to a client or customer how exceptional you are at what you do. It happens to me all the time. Yes, even after all those years I wonder if I’m accomplished enough.
And that’s okay, because once we recognize what’s happening we can drop it – like bird poops while happily flying in the sky!
So this is about owning your beliefs, and owning that the majority of your beliefs are just that: A limited belief with the sole purpose of keeping you small.
Are you ready to write all your beliefs on the page without holding back? Do you dare to be as honest as you possibly can be?
ACTION
Print the BELIEFS page and start writing (you might ever print out more than 1 page)
Now question it. Do I still believe it? Give it a number. Feel where in your body it is?
Keep it light!! This is not therapy, it’s a way to shake those beliefs.

Get another paper (or your journal) and write at the top
“When I let go of (your beliefs) this will be possible for me”
Breathe and let your pen do the work for you.
ACTION
Meet up with your Accountability Buddy and confess.
Very important.
Have fun with it. Listen to each other, acknowledge each other’s pain and then bring in the light and see if you can find the humor in your beliefs. Don’t coach each other (too much) just listen, nod, and dare to ask: ‘Do you REALLY believe that that’s true’? Like really, really, really?’
NOTE
You might forget some beliefs. That’s okay in the next modules you have more opportunities to clearly see your beliefs. It’s just like Rome. It wasn’t built in a day.
