WHY YOU NEED TO BE THE EXPERT
Remember the “Why you Are Different” assignment? You researched your peers. Your prospects (or the people who don’t even know they need you, either now or in the future) are doing the same. They need someone who can solve a problem, have an answer to a desire, or they are just scrolling and suddenly they gasp and call out: “I WANT that.”
Happens to me all the time. And I think you recognize this too.
The more clear you are about WHAT NEED (or longing or desire) you can SOLVE, the easier it is for clients and customers to step into your world.
That means that your expert state needs to be “in Your Face” clear. Yes, that can feel very uncomfortable.
But think about what will happen when those people can’t find you because you’ve been trying to fit in, blend in and be more like the others.
They will not find you!
So showing up as the expert means that you – as calm as a cucumber – OWN everything that sets you apart from your peers. And since you’re wonderfully wise and beautifully weird, you’re expertise is most likely fast and amazing.
